These are light-weight shoe trees that keep your nice leather shoes from being crushed in a full suitcase. Your shoes will keep their shape at a fraction of the weight of wooden shoe trees. These are apparently the shoe forms of choice for fans of Rothy's shoes. They're not very fancy, but they work well. There is just one dimension to adjust, with 8 options for length. I'm a size 9 and have most of mine set at the second-to-largest size, though for a couple pairs I had to go with the largest. So if you are much larger than a women's size 9, these may be too small for you. I started with this 5-pack but will have to go back for more to accommodate my growing collection of Rothy's ;)Originally purchased for use in my Rothy's few months ago and have since purchased 2x more times and use in almost ALL my shoes. It has helped to bring new life to several pairs and reshaped back to how the were new. These are primarily plastic, and I suppose you get what you pay for in that regard (but the wooden ones are considerably more expensive). These are not real sturdy but will work fairly well for women with small and medium shoe sizes. They're adjustable, but for a size 10 (maybe even 9 1/2) or more, they're too short. I'm using them in size 10 shoes, but they're not stretching the shoes as they should because they aren't long enough. They come from China, where whoever designed these didn't take into account that most North Americans are not as small as most Asians are. (That's a huge issue with much clothing and accessories made in China and sold in the U.S.) I should have known better, and put out the additional money to get some good wooden ones made in the U.S.I was contemplating buying cedar shoe trees when I came across these. They are brilliantly designed and provide the right amount of support. I ordered the set of 10 that measures 9.45" - 12.40". I wear a size 12 shoe and used the very last hole or the next to last hole for the adjustment (depending on the type of shoe). They are easy to adjust and snap down in the shoe to provide the extension. It also has a ring to pull up when taking them out of the shoe. Very sturdy for the price and they're light weight. Best economical solution for slip-ons, gym shoes, and casual shoes. It’s a decent product but is cheaply made. This product works well for stretching shoes from toe to heel, however, it does not widen toe area. They do everything they say that they can.
